Annual Chili Cook-off

On the lighter side of business, but perhaps the spicier side we all get involved in small company creative events. These events usually get out of hand and have less to do with traditional design and more to do with last-minute lunchroom posts practial jokes. We prefer the later! The chili cook-off had been an annual event for a number of years and as the newer graphic designer it had become my responsibility to concept and create the poster.

Lucky me, there was a very large collection of company employee photos at my disposal. The theme had come from a few small conversations and finally grew legs. As the event approached the poster had been kept top secret to drum up interest in the company event. This provided a great change of pace from the normal work day and also started the talk for what would be the best chili cook-off ever.
