Mandate Type Explorations

Originally started as an internal project to exercise typographic skills and graphic expertise, Mandate moved out of the basement and is in the process of becoming a creative outlet for a small collective of friends. The story and name started before the art and quickly became more than just time to watch youtube and cracked.com. It started as a collective between different design aesthetics and skill sets. This is what is exciting about this undertaking. Possibly doing the work that lays the foundation of a future studio or career is happening now in a local mandate.

This is really the beginning of something that could one day provide great design for businesses all over, but now its just a creative sandbox to develop ideas and experiment with graphically treatments, photography, typography and anything else that may pop up. Watch out because your coffee shop could be the next place we crash with Mandate. Probably not, but anything could happen on a Mandate.
