Quest Real Estate is a great website experience because it is visual rich and provides a great user experience. In the course of any redesign many things get graphic and code updates. Example: slide shows of the past would have been static rotating flash movies, and are now leveraged as rotating marketing real estate. Features have become more than just images and data. All these graphical enhancements now come together to create a very exciting easy-to-use experience that not only gives a website user the information they seek, but a easy and intuitive way to do it.

There are many cases where the information hasn't changed, but the presentation is now much more effective and offers up this information exciting ways that enhance the experience. One such example would be the large, but useful footer at the bottom of the site. This allows consumers easy access to many pages not easily seen in the primary navigation as well as providing a intuitive way-finding system. On the client side it also allows Quest to promote new functionality and products without pushing valuable information further down the page in a sidebar. The graphic that symbolizes the break between page information and general site information and contacts available in the footer is another branding piece that extends the same ideas of "the journey" and "progress" expressed in the logo mark and now hints that this journey has begun.

Icons & Logos

The logo mark is an opportunity for the Quest Brand to really grow and illustrate their many core ideals. This new mark is a symbol for the journey of buying a home, with the natural highs and lows of the process. The monogram as a symbol embodies the full circle of the real estate experience illustrating how Quest Real Estate is there for you from the beginning to the end and then ready for any future needs.

Intuitive icons are a secondary, but very necessary part of any redesign or existing web site. Universal symbols and images are essential to making the user experience stress free and at times exciting. There have provided me with the opportunity to show off the latest techniques and combined iconic symbols to "show" functionality instead of "tell".
