Coldwell Banker Select Realtors has the good fortune to be located in the middle of a very competitive real estate market. One of the side effects of this good fortune is the need for a very effective website that communicates clearly and easily to a variety of consumer. Deciding to stay with the national Coldwell Banker style there was still plenty of room to show off the characteristics of this brokerage and add the robust feature now available. One way that we advance the national look was to center the site, and add a background element. Although subtle it does add texture and provides great contrast to the page content.

The sidebar element is a large marketing space that we now extended to the top of the site allowing for even more content to be displayed above the fold. It also happens to be a perfect place to show featured properties and allows space for larger agent photos. With added height and the additional space available in the footer element we were able to add more marketing items and keep the page looking fresher by rotating the images throughout the sidebar and footer. At first this may seem like over kill, but the ability to add more marketing images provides additional exposure for new programs and special events. And maybe more importantly this design allows the page to have a longer life span in the fast paced internet environment.

As previously mentioned, the footer element was a new major featured in this design. This was yet another way that we could increase usability and differentiate Coldwell Banker Select from it's competitors.

Icons are essential in today's internet experience. Consumers are becoming more diverse and nothing communicates better than a well executed use of icons. Like any great icon set there is always one icon that is not included. Many icons shown have been created custom or altered to better fit the message and overall design esthetic.
